It's time.
It's time for me to reveal all my secrets, answer all your questions and reveal more about the Pond than I ever have.
Are you ready?
I've listed the questions with the answer, as well as sprinkled in a few little fun tidbits to make you giggle (or scream.)
I confess....
And if you want more after all this, go here.
Diana asked: What’s your favorite movie?
Legally Blond is my ultimate favorite movie. Elle Woods is my idol. And it all started at college.
My first week away from home at college, I was in tears at a university bookstore. I’d never been away from home, I didn’t know a soul other than my cranky roommate and I felt like a complete outcast. I had leopard print from my bed spread to my slippers; all the other girls had whatever sorority colors they were rushing.
At the counter, I looked down with watery eyes as the clerk bagged my text books. Suddenly, I heard a familar voice. My head snapped up to the TV over the clerk's head. Legally Blond was on. It was the scene where Elle is crying to Paulette about her misfortunes at Harvard.
At that moment, I knew it was a sign. And it was. For years, whenever I got down about myself or was moping about being rejected by another publisher, Elle Woods would appear. When my job made me cry all the time, Elle Woods was always on when I switched on the TV. No matter what was bad in my life, Elle was there. And whenever I saw her, I knew it was a signal I was going the right direction. I just needed to buck up, put on my cutest pink dress and keep going.
My other favorite movies are Enchanted, Stranger than Fiction and Muppet Christmas Carol.
Noble Pig asked: What color duck would you be?
I would be a pink duck with glittery eyelashes and a fluffy tail that looked like a tutu.
Sugar Fairy asked: What is your ultimate holiday destination?
Anywhere I can swim with dolphins. Ben promised me when we got married he’d take me to the beach to swim with dolphins. I haven’t forgotten. HINT. HINT.
I’d love to travel to Europe (and see Marie!) and explore all the places fairy tales and literature sprang from. But if I could have a vacation home anywhere, it’d be Colorado. We went in the summer for years when I was growing up, and I loved it.
And I really like the moose in Alaska.
Impromptu Confession: I've always wanted to be a bellydancer. Or a least take classes.
Francesca asked about this fabulous little picture. She asked: What is the crazy contraption that you are standing in? Also, the photo of you in the big, white mattress pad...is that from Halloween? What are you? A marshmallow?
That was a makeshift Christmas tree skirt I made for our first tree in college, the notorious spider tree. An old mattress cover had been sitting in Ben’s closet forever and wouldn’t fit on his bed. So I cut a hole in it and began dancing about the living room in it.
I get distracted easily.
Lisa Magic Sprinkles asked a ton of random questions:
Heels or flats? Cowboy boots
Chocolate or vanilla? Vanilla. I’m allergic to chocolate.
Email or stationery? Both. I e-mail causal notes but mail thank you notes on stationary.
First day of spring or first day of fall? I love the first day of spring for the baby animals.
But since it’s warm here most of the year, I also love when fall starts. Even though it’s hot until December, fall always feels like the the beginning of the year because of school starting.
Pens or pencils? Pens. I am the queen of blacked out writing and swirlies over words. But pencils for my menu scheldule for the week since I change it constantly.
Tastes great or less filling? Tastes great.
Colgate or Crest? Whatever. I love all toothpastes just as they were created.
Whipped cream or cool whip? Neither. Ice cream!
Biking or hiking? Hiking. Biking kills my knees.
Favorite song? “You know me better than that” by George Strait.
Favorite color? PINK!
Favorite magazines? Pscyhology Today and Taste of Home.
Shoe size? 9, narrow. I have the biggest arch. It’s really hard to find shoes.
Barbeque: beef or pork? Beeeefffffff
What publication are you the editor for? A local children’s magazine for a local newspaper group. I was also the editor of a tourist publication until December. Right now, I mostly write for our other publications because the children's magazine is on hold. My company started out as a small community newspaper group, but was bought out by an international media company two years ago. I don’t want to give the name because I don’t want them to find me. They’re very skittish about blogs.
Impromptu Confession: I once got so annoyed with my sister I shoved her out of a treehouse. But it's ok. She threw a rock at my head that made a major hole in the drywall. She also left scars on my arm from raking her nails into my skin during tantrums. And she bit the dog.
What time do you get up in the morning? 4:30 a.m. weekdays, 6 a.m. on weekends.
What time do you go to sleep? 10 or 10:30 p.m. weekdays, 10:30 to 11 p.m. weekends. If I’m lucky, I can get to bed at 9. But there’s always so much to do…
What's your favorite exercise / aerobic class? Kickboxing! I do it two to three times a week and run three to four times a week.
Why are you called Duckie? Marie started it. I think it comes from the Blond Duck and people just liked it. You can ask her! Personally, I love it.
Speaking of Marie, she asked: Who kissed who first? You or Ben? What was your first kiss like? Did fireworks go off? When did you know HE was the one?
Ben kissed me first. We were standing outside his truck on a country road. Since we went to Baylor and had dorm visiting hours, most of our dates were driving around or going to I-Hop or Whataburger. He was showing me a spot where he and his racing buddies went all the time to “test their engines.” And it was toe-tingling and heart-thumping, yes.
I knew I was going to marry Ben during an argument after we’d been dating about a year. I was sure he was going to dump me because we were having an argument and was bawling. He took me by the shoulders and told me there was no reason to be so upset, that we would have plenty of arguments and we were going to work through all of them. This was just a bump in the road and he never stopped loving me. At that moment, I knew we were both committed to this for the long haul.
It’s romantic, I know.
Kitt asked: At what time of day do you do most of your writing? Do you have a general writing routine/schedule?
I write early in the morning and late at night. I used to take my laptop to work and write during lunch, but they made a no-laptop policy and I don’t trust company computers. Now I write during breakfast on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On weekends, I write from half an hour to two or three hours in the morning, depending on what’s going on that day. And I write my blog entries at night while Chihuahuas tapdance on my head and Ben wuffles for a foot rub.
It’s a exciting life. And If I could, I’d write more. I never get tired of it.
Impromptu Confession: I fall asleep after being in any car for more than thirty minutes, no matter what time day or night. I never have to drive on road trips.
Ingrid asked: Were you a dancer gowing up and how long did you train?
I was a dancer! I did ballet, jazz and tap from 3 until I was 18. I also took country western dancing classes at 16 and went dancing at a local dancehall with all my friends on weekends. That’s where Vivi came from. For awhile, I even wanted to go to Texas A&M University just to join the competitive country dancing team. I always wanted to join a dance team in college as well, and seriously considered it at Baylor.
The problem is I soon realized in college that my dancing was best suited to flailing about my living room or a dancehall. And no one wants to pay to see that.
What made you decide on "creative" writing?
I actually majored in journalism-public relations with a minor in corporate communications. I never wanted to work for the university newspaper because of the scheldule and I thought all the news writers were rude snots. Junior year, I discovered a creative writing minor and would have done it if I could have gotten all the classes I needed in time.
A lot of people think I should have majored in English, but I never was interested. I don't care about grammer. And while I loved discussing books and their themes and plots, I could never apply it to my own work. Whenever I try to analyze and break down my stories, they get bad. That's what I did when I was hitting the traditional publishing route. Everything you see is technically a rough draft. I don't try to think of plots or suspense or dialouge. I usually sit down over eggs and toast and basically bleed it out.
I'm still amazed ya'll like it.
To be truthful, I am toying with the idea of a masters in creative writing. But I'm not sure how useful it would be and am concerned it would water down my natural creativty.
Impromptu Confession: Ben and I picked out my engagement ring together a few days before Halloween and got engaged on my Dad's birthday in the fall of 2005. He was very gracious about it. I would have been mad. But I drag my birthdays out for a month.
Princess of Pink asked: From whom did you inherit your writing talent?
No one. I’m the only one!
Francesca asked: What is the process for you publishing a book like Twirl? Are you close to doing so?
The problem with Twirl is I've been writing it post by post. I know in my head what the end is, what will happen and the big secret of Vivi's dad, mom and Mrs. Angelson. I just don't know how they'll get there.
So I've got two choices: pull it off the blog, write it and have you all get bored or kill me; or write it, give it a quick edit and polish and publish it through lulu like I did with The Twelve Tales of Christmas.
I'm thinking I'll probably go with the second option because currently, I'm finishing the last details for the first Land of the Flowered Bed Book and putting together Kitchen Magic in book form. Then next up, I've got Miss Pickles to print!
She also asked: Are you only able to write in your free time or is working on your novel(s) a part of your daily job responsibilities as a magazine editor?
My free time. There's only a few people at work who know about my blog and the stories I write. I keep it very quiet.
Impromptu Confession: I wear a tiara on every birthday for a week straight. And I'm not at all ashamed or embarrassed.
Jen asked: I want to know how you find time to write all of those fun stories? How do you keep all the stories and plots straight?
My brain is like standing in the center of a movie theater. There's one main screen and ten other screens behind it. Imagine running into the theater and watching 15 to 20 minutes of a movie at a time, day after day. All these movies are swirling in your head and the story is revealed to you one bit at a time. But if you sit and watch the whole movie at once, you get tired and overwhelmed and hungry.
As far as time, Ben and I don't go out a lot and I make my writing a priority. I'll give up a lot to make sure it's done. It's my passion in life.
Erica asked: What's your favorite color and top three meals?
PINK!!!
Meal 1: Fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, green beans and wheat rolls glistening with butter and apple or peanut butter pie.
Meal 2: Bacon Cheeseburger, Fries and Apple Pie.
Meal 3: Barbecue. Ribs, brisket, sausage, chicken, baked beans, wheat bread with honey butter, potato salad, coleslaw, creamed corn, banana pudding and pecan pie.
Juliet asked: What is your most favorite story and why?
Story I've written: Twirl, because it's got all my favorite things: dancing, horseback riding, cowboys, pie, mystery and suspense.
Story I've read: The BFG or Wrinkle In Time. Or The Frog Prince Continued.
Also, what is your most favorite picture that you've posted and why?
This one.
Or this one. I think it says it all.
Chad asked: Do you write the entire story out ahead of time and then post it in pieces, or do you write each post individually as you go along?
Post it as I go. I write down notes about ideas I have, but I tend to change things. Every time I try to write outlines I just end up throwing them out, so I quit worrying about it.
Pumpkin asked : What's the best vacation you've ever been on, and why?
I think it was last summer when we went to Alaska. It was just really fun going somewhere so different with my family and Ben and being able to appreciate it. When I was younger, I never fully recongized the great things my parents did for us.
What's your dream car?
A silver Jetta. I had one when I was 16 and now I have a grey Jetta. I like what I like.
And, it's not really a question, but I wanna see a wedding picture!
Your wish is my command!
And yes. I really did get married at a barbecue restaurant and eat ribs in my dress.
Noble Pig asked: When do you sleep?
I don't sleep. I plug into a wall and recharge until the green light comes on.
Karen asked: What was your earliest writing assignment that you remember?
I had to write a fairy tale in the third grade. It had a lot of princesses, a mean king and a horse. I really wanted a horse.
Then I had to write my autobiography. I rewrote it three times so my teacher could read my terrible cursive.
I hate hand writing things now.
Sugar Fairy asked: Who is your favourite author?
I have three: Elizabeth Peters for her Egyptology mysteries (I'm fascinated with Egypt), Raold Dahl and Madeline L'Engle.
What is your all time favourite book?
That's too hard to answer. I'd have to say A Wrinkle in Time, A Ring of Light or The BFG.
What is the weirdest food combo that you like to eat?
Cheese Its and Gatorade, though I haven't had it since high school due to the fact I can't control myself around Cheese Its or Goldfish.
llegally blonde asked: What age did you begin writing and when did you realize that writing is truly your passion?
I wrote and produced little books when I was 7, all about Mr. Bunny. But in 4th grade, I decided I wanted to be a writer and illustrator of children's books and needed a job to support that.
I just have to master the illustration part.
Whitney asked: How many stories do you work on at a time? How many do you post on your blog?
I usually work on two to three for the blog and two to three not on the blog. Since I do this all week long at work, it doesn't confuse me. I get bored just with one story and tend to obsess, overthink and overwork a story.
Marie asked: Do you dream in colour?
Yes. But I daydream in a mixture of words and images. It's odd.
If you could have a dinner party and invite anyone you wanted, living now or an historic character, who would you invite?
Well, Ben, the Babies, my family and you for one. And most of my Invisible Friends. I'd also invite Madeline L'Engle, my father's mother that I never knew, Shannon Hale, Roald Dahl, Teddy Roosevelt...
I don't want to invite any celebrities. They're boring.
When can you come over to visit me?
As soon as someone starts paying me to write books all day.
Thrilled by the thought asked: Where do you get your imagination from?
Everywhere.
Stay tuned, Invisible Friends! We have a special edition of Twirl this weekend where you will find out what's in the envelope. I swear. I promise. Cross my heart and hope to die. We also have a new candy animals, a new Gift and a week of whimsical fun! Stay tuned!

Just quacking by from sits. Love the pink duck. Actually, I'm kinda brain dead to answer most of your queries. But, one of my favorite movies is the Shawshank Redemption. TGIF!
I enjoyed reading this post and learning more about you. The pictures are priceless. I can't wait for Twirl. Have a wonderful weekend.
Hi, Mz. Blonde! What a cute site, you sound like a lot of fun. Thanks for stopping by my blog & I hope you'll come back again.
Wow. Great post. I'm impressed with your massively entertaining posts here. Big ups for Muppet Christmas Carol.
Mmmm....what's that yummmmmy smell? That's the smell of pure talent, that is!
Hey, I get up at 4:30am too! (I thought it was a 40's thingy but maybe it's just that brilliance awakens early...yep, that's gotta be it if you're up too...)
Delightful post, Duckie! Nice to get to know ya' better!
Hugs!
dawn
ps..thanks for the linky!!!! you rock!
You are a delight!!
Duckie I love your wedding photos but I cannot believe you get up at 4.30am on weekdays!!! That makes me feel really guilty!! Have a great weekend x
What a fun post! And such lovely photos - love the wedding ones as well. Enjoy your writing.
I love this!! So funny, so cool--and the pictures are fantastic. I love the wedding pics and the cute puppy pics and the moose pic--just all around good stuff :D
Great questions and answers!
Oh I love this! Very cute!
I love your answers and the impromptu confession about your sister pushing you out of the tree.. okay that didn't make me laugh but the last line did " She bit the dog"
Oh my.. I died laughing thats so funny!
You crack me up.
And I love your blog sista!
I love Elle Woods! If it weren't for that movie I would of never gone to college. I figured is she could do it then I could too! I loved your wedding pictures, so beautiful!! And it was very interesting to hear about how you write. I was thinking of changing my degree to creative writing or journalism, but all that technical stuff might just take the fun out of my writing. I don't like to write outlines and all of that either, I start stories without knowing where there going and just write as I go along and change things sometimes. You made me feel so much better about my writing. I realize there is no wrong or right way to 'write' it's an individual thing!! Thanks for sharing, Duckie!! Did you know there is a Duckie in an old movie, Pretty In Pink, have you seen?
This was very fun to read! My four year old Bella has a tiara for everyday of the week! :)
Allergic to chocolate? Wow. It was fun getting to know you!
After all those fun facts about you, all I can think of is "you're allergic to chocolate???" ;>
I also like your answer to Noble Pig regarding sleeping. LOL!
How did I know that your favorite color was pink?
It's so good to get to know you better Duckie. No matter what kind of mood I am in, I always smile after visiting your blog.
P.S. I totally had you in mind when I made the recipe I posted today - it was so good. I think you will love it.
Hee hee. Thanks so much for the interview and the photos. You have a great roundup of favorite meals. Those are some of my favorites too.
I don't know if it was intentional, but I had a good laugh when you said you didn't care about "grammer". ;-)
I absolutely love your attitude! Actually I think a lot of us would love to wear a tiara during our birthday week but we just don't have the nerve! I'll be back to read your stories. Thanks for visiting my place today.
Elaine
Wow!! What a great post!!! How long did it take you to do this? I love seeing pictures w/ the post!! It makes it that much more interesting!
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!
I love Stranger Than Fiction. And I totally believe in signs like the ones you were talking about with Legally Blonde. Mine always revolve around songs that I never hear except for that exact right moment when I need them.
Oh my gosh you are hilarious. I once pushed my sister into her dollhouse, which was an impressive structure fitted with tall, sharp chimneys, and she cut her chin and was gushing blood. but it's ok, she then threw scissors at my head, which i some how dodged and she broke one of my mother's antique vases. oh sisters!
loved hearing all of your answers. and my shipment from lulu is on its way ... yay!
It was wonderful to get to know you.
I am shocke to read that you are allergic, that is really bad.
I cried for month after getting married and moving away so far from my home.....
I too sleep in the car always.
Hi hi wearinf tiare for a week for you b'day, ha ha i love that.
You're so funny and have such a great attitude. I think I have to go with the pink duck as my favorite. Just love the pink feather boa!
Hi fellow SISTA!! Thanks for stopping by my site. Your site is so adorable!!! Loving the pictures too!! The 3 ingredient peanut butter cookies will hold up very nicely. You MUST try them. They are so easy and quick. Let me know how you liked them.
Lori
Duckie! I so enjoyed reading all about you! I think that was a great idea....
First, you're a very lucky lady Ben is a fantastic guy. (my honey is going to heaven for putting up with me!)
Second, I've never seen legally blonde. (I will have to now)
Third, if you are interested in swimming with dolphins that can easily be arranged at Discovery Cove (FL) or for free off the gulf coast you can probably get lucky. And of course there are always manatees and alligators to swim with here. (I expect a visit if you come to FL)
Fourth, I've always thought you were a riot & this post has only confirmed it!
~ingrid
You are way too fun!!
I love all those pix.
T
OMG - those are so cute and funny and hilarious- Love that you are a pink tiaras wearing, boa flung duck!
Wow! I feel like I totally have known you for years. That was a great post and you and Ben are so adorable together. :)
You didn't disappoint, dear Duckie. And I've sort of understood why I like visiting the pond so much. (I was one of those strange fish who learnt to swim before they could walk - I should have been a mermaid.) It's still my ambition to swim with dolphins in the wild. Best wishes, casalba
i LOVED this post!
When I read that you were allergic to chocolate, I immediately remembered this little girl I met from when I taught preschool.
She was a new girl, so we weren't yet familiar with her likes, dislikes, allergies, etc. However, we did put "Chocolate" next to her name on the refrigerator (as we do with all kids who have allergies), so we caught it just in time before she ate the chocolate frosting off of the vanilla cupcake.
One of my co-teachers at the time heard that she was allergic to chocolate and was incredibly shocked. She turned towards me and said, "Oohh! Poor girl! What is she gonna eat when she gets dumped? VE-GE-TAH-BUHLS?!?!"
Oh Duckie!!! How fun! I LOVED reading all about you! I totally see you as Elle from Legally Blond! What a romantic love story with you and Ben. So sweet! I also love Cheese Its -- I like the reduced fat version to eat with chocolate chips and diet coke. Yummm...
Thanks for satisfying my curiosity! I just love you more and more as I learn new things about you!
XOXOXOXOXOXOXO
Jen
Wow, you have left no stone unturned. Love the story about you and your sister. I once threw a horseshoe at my sister and she chased me around the house with a big wooden candle stick!
What a fun read!
Wow you do get up early.
You and Ben are a gorgeous couple! I see some pretty babes in your future.
Have a great weekend.
~Melissa :)
Great post Duckie! I love finding out more about you! Have a great weekend!
Such fun reading this! Looking forward to reading more when I have more time & less odious work to, er, work on.
This was fun. What a fun idea to do the interview about yourself.
Thanks for sharing all about you.
Thanks for visiting my blog, it is always fun to see someone visiting.
That was so fun to read! I love Legally Blonde too -- my mom and I went to see it the day before I left for college. It always makes me happy when I watch it -- hooray for blondes who wear excessive amounts of pink! :)
Wow! This was quite an informative post!!! Great job!
Woah! Great post and a lot of fun answers. I had to laugh when I saw the picture of you sleeping in the car. I'm like that as well - I think it's a childhood thing. When I was a baby, if I cried a lot, my parents would put me in the car and take me for a ride - worked like a charm to stop a baby from crying. Only now, I can't go for long drives. Lol.
Loved the picture of you and your husband with the puppies. Awwww...
Hello there. Thanks for stopping by and saying hello. Hope you like my blog and come back to visit.
I really enjoy this post. I was fun reading the answers to your questions. you sound fun!!
Take care
Sade
*Snaps for Duckie*
That was a fun post and you're one fun girl. I bet you're a blast to hang out with!
Those were GREAT questions!!!!
Have you seen Legally Blonde the musical???? It is AWESOME! You MUST see it if you haven't yet. You will love it!
You guys are the cutest couple!
My friend does belly dancing lessons and loves it. She's been losing weight too!
I can't believe you are allergic to chocolate! How do you survive?!?!
I totally did the nails into skin defense w/ my brothers growing up! I sympathize w/ your sis!
that story about you and ben is very cute :) it is always nice to reach that moment where you know the two of you belong together.
i love pink, too :)
the pics of the pups are so cute :)
my husband is a "birthday week" kinda guy, too.
Your romance is wonderful! I too fall asleep in the car after 30 minutes! :)
I am thrilled to find another who cannot stay awake in a car. 30 minutes is my limit too! I thought I was the only one in the world with that issue!
Hey thanks for stopping by my blog you have a very cute blog I love all of your confessions. Legally Blonde is one of my favorite movie too!
This is such a cute blog!!
You are a very inspiring woman, I loved reading that!
..**chuckling.. Pink? Knew that. Fall asleep in the car? (Cowboy does that so I'm the designated driver..GRRrrr)..THAT is when you sleep, eh?

Your last 3 meals are fantastic.
I loved reading this post! You are awesome!
What a FUN post!!
Oh! OH!Oh! I HAVE something to TELL you!
We just booked a vacation to Cancun and one of the Hotels they offered us to stay in (we didn't chose it, because we wanted an adult only one) had their own section of the ocean kind of rounded off where they kept dolphins in it and if you stayed in that private hotel you could swim in the water with the dolphins! It looked SUPER cool! You should definitly go check it out:)
haha, you're hilarious....and a little crazy! You guys make the cutest couple, love all your questions and answers!
I love reading your blog! It's so creative =]
Love the wedding pics! Glad you plug in the wall!
You are just fun personified, and it is really a blast to learn more about you, Duckie!
I want glittery eyelashes and ribs too :) Love the post!
Fabulous! Thanks for such a fun post, and of course always love the pics.
I had fun reading it but I personally love the first one since I am a freshman college and I experienced that same home sickness that made me cry, too. To be far away from home is a real challenge. I am still a freshman. Once in a while, I still get home-sick. Thanks to your post! It made me inspired that eventually, I'll get through. :D
I love that movie too and all your confessions. Did you answer how you keep your hair so fabulous and shiny yet? Did I miss it? Surely SOMEONE already asked..is it the ribs? Please tell me it's the ribs.
It was so wonderful to get to know you through these confessions! WHat fun!
Duckie. I love you.
I have been a little distracted the past week with my own editor deadlines...but I have found I was not behind on your stuff...still see pot pies, I could eat one for breakfast right now!
I see that you and I have so much in common, you are a younger me and here are the only differences...
Toothpaste- Aquafresh orange
color- orange (autumn ones)
food combination- cheeze its wrapped in salami
I still love the rib pictures
Your blonde- I am redhead
I love kids and cute puppies
I grabbed my husband after two year friendship, kissed him and declared what are you waiting for, and the kisses haven't stopped
People ask me all the time 'how can you do all the writing and cooking'...I do not waste time and the energy is just there...a passion for life...
Sorry for this being so long, but I am listening to music this morning...and your love affair with life made me start thinking...
I can see you are in love in your faces...
I cannot believe you pushed you sister outta the treehouse! On our roadtrip my sister totally wanted to make Chumba sit on my lab... umm, big backseat with room, or on my lap??? Yeah, not happening. There was almost some drama there! LOL!
I loved reading this post! It was fun getting to know you better! :o)
What a great post! I found it fascinating learning more about you! :D
Belly dancing is fun. Do it! :)
Duckie, I loved reading about your confessions and feel like I know my invisible friend so much better. You are so creative and add humor to my day. Are Bitty and Bear related?
Awesome confessions. I am also addicted to Cheez Its. I once polished off 3 boxes in one week by myself. Turns out I was pregnant.
Your favorite movies are very similar to my kinda movies! :)
LOVE this post! You did an awesome job! And really who can resist cute baby animals at a petting zoo?!
You fascinate me. You're so much more interesting than I am or ever will be! LOL
And I watch Legally Blonde almost every time it's on tv. Love it! =)
Fascinating, astonishing, revealing, electrifying, impressive, perplexing and down right Duckie!
You truly are a hoot.
I love the pics of you and Ben. So sweet.
I also like the picture of you looking in the window. Its unique.
The Original Duckie!
Holy moly! Look at all of these comments. It seems that we are all very interested in the Blonde Duck. And what is not to love? A girl with an interesting history who likes to eat. What fun!
Thank you for answering my many, many questions. You rock. Did you answer the one about why you got married at 21? I saw it in the "preview", but maybe missed it in the post?
-Francesca
I think you are fantastic! I so agree with you on the ribs! Elizabeth Peters (Amelia Peabody) is one of my favoritist authors, too! Much love, Raquel XO
Thanks for visiting my blog. I love your background! I am off to do some more reading on your blog.
Noble Pig asked: What color duck would you be?
I would be a pink duck with glittery eyelashes and a fluffy tail that looked like a tutu
>>>OMG, me too!!! Totally!!!
Loved this post and your confessions. My question for your next one isn't really a question - it's just to tell us more about your sweet babies!
I love Legally Blonde! I remember sitting down and watching it the first time with my then-roommate, thinking it was going to be stupid. I had no idea how wrong I was!
Hi Duckie, I'm playing catch up. Great post, nice to know more about you.
