Bear's Peanut Butter Barooo

Hello, my name is Bear.

And I have some terrible news.

My birthday is next week.....

Well, our birthday.

We might not get a peanut butter puppy cake. Wuffle. And it's all their fault.

Wuffle. Wuffle.

All I wanted in life was a peanut butter puppy cake for my first birthday.

Bitty wanted world domination. All I wanted was a simple cake full of peanut butter puppy safe goodness. Is that too much to ask for?

Wuffle.

I'll give up kibble for a peanut butter puppy cake.

Barrooooo.

Wuffle.

You see, I have a thing for peanut butter.

All it takes it the crack of a lid. My heart races, my paws tingle and my taste buds dance with joy. When I see that knife slathered in rich, tasty peanut butter, I literally jump for joy.

I'll give up Ben's famous bellyrubs for a peanut butter puppy cake.

I love peanut butter. I adore peanut butter. I can't live without it.

I'll try the ostrich technique of solving problems...

And how can I have a good birthday party without a peanut butter puppy cake?

Wuffle.

So you see, Invisible Friends, I need some help here. If you need me, I'll be hoping for a peanut butter puppy cake by Jan. 29 in time for my birthday. Big enough for Bitty and I to share with my friend the dolphin and the moose.

I'll be hoping for world domination.

Wuffle.

Love,

Bear

Stay tuned, Invisible Friends! We have a new Twirl tomorrow and a offering from the New Recipe Series on Thursday. And on Friday, we'll find out how the Fuzzy Duck's date went with the Rubber Chicken. Stay tuned!

what adorable pictures!!! And yes - we have dogs that freak out over Peanut butter as well. When the jar gets near to empty - we give it to the dogs & they carry it around & work for HOURS getting it clean. I have to get my family to save their old peanut butter jars so all four gets their own jar... no fighting!

I hope the peanut butter scare is over before the babies' birthday. How terrible if they don't get their birthday wish. They are so precious!

Doesn't take much to make the doggies happy huh?

Those sad eyes are just too too much...poor little pumpkin! Darn those stupid peanut butter makers!

I think Bitty completely has a chance at world domination...how can anyone resist????

Have a fabulous Tuesday, Duckie darling!

Peanut butter is one of the only things my son eats, so I'm right there with Bear and rooting hard for for that peanut butter cake!

Oh those puppies...find some GOOD peanut butter. Make it if you have to!
But what a baking dilemma! My friend and I were all set to try the Girl Scout Tag-a-Longs recipe I found on a blog and now we are trying to figure out what to do!
Boo-hoo...and what to do about the jars of peanut butter we have...

We cannot give up peanut butter. My kids would cease to live.

ohhh no! poor bitty and bear. roxie is having a very rough time with the peanut butter withdrawal, as well.

we've switched to cream cheese flavored with beef broth ;) maybe that might help your guys survive, too?

I am sad about peanut butter.. :(

I can tell you how to make peanut butter, if you want to. All it involves is a food processor, honest!

Thor had an applesauce meringue cake for his birthday. He recommends it. The pictures from back in May prove how wonderful it is!

You are too funny. You love your puppies as much as I love mine. You can make your own peanut butter. My dogs love baby food; chicken liver. I make it with plain yogurt and a little honey. Freeze it and it is a frosty paws.

oh how doggies LOVE peanut butter!!!

as for you question about the OTHER Pride and Prejudice...I happen to love that one, too. Both versions satisfy my Jane Austen fix for different reasons...

The BBC version stays more true to the book and definitely does a better job of giving you a true sense of Jane Austen's wit.

The Kiera Knightly version, however, is oh-so-romantic...and allows me to get my Pride and Prejudice fix in 2 hours as opposed to 5.

I make homemade peanut butter doggy biscuits!! Nana nananna I have good peanut butter. If your good wittle puppies maybe I'll send you some!

Too cute! Sorry they can't get their peanut butter cake. My dogs like pb too. I came home one day to find a jar of peanut butter chewed open and half eaten. Yes, my little dog can open the jar by herself. But the evidence is pretty obvious as she destroys half the top as she tries to bit/twist it off.

Happy early Birthday cuties!

Tell Bear how sorry I am about the peanut butter. Being a peanut butter fan myself, I was quite upset when I heard that peanut butter is on the no-no list for consumption. Worse when I found out Reeses peanut butter cups were part of that list.
Thanks for the comment about the Napolean dance. I am for sure watching Napolean soon!

Poor little puppy. Sniffle. I saw a photo on line that reminded me of your pups.

It's at http://mine.icanhascheezburger.com/View.aspx?ciid=2962625

This is a website that posts pictures of people's pets along with captions. It's quite popular among the young set. In fact, the background on my computer is from this or another site like it that my daughter found and posted up. Take a peek; it's hysterical!
